The Greene County Genealogical Society will meet Saturday, Jan. 7, at 10 am in the basement meeting room of the Jefferson public library. There will be an “antiques roadshow” with someone there to look at our finds. There is a limit of two items per person. Guests are always welcome. The meeting room is handicapped accessible.
It is now time to renew your membership. Dues are $7.50 single per year with $10 for family per year. Also, a lifetime membership of $100 is available. Dues can be mailed to the Greene County Genealogical Society, PO Box 133, Jefferson, IA 50129-0133.
The reference library will be closed in January, February, and March. Anyone who needs assistance can call Arlene Johnson at 515-386-5431.
